On April 18, 2022, at approximately 7:43 p.m., a deputy from the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Sidney Police Department responded to the Burlington Northern overpass on East Illinois Street in Sidney in reference to an individual on top of the overpass. The individual ultimately fell from the overpass and sustained serious injuries. Emergency medical services were provided and the individual was transported to Sidney Regional Medical Center.
