Sidney Table of Grace Mobile Food Pantry and Mission Store Seeking Donations
April 27, 2022 | View PDF
The Table of Grace mobile food pantry will be finished the second week in May.
Due to food shortages at the Foodbank of the Heartland and a huge drop in donations from Walmart and Safeway, the Table of Grace is in need of food.
Food items most needed (Not Expired or Open), include:
Cereal
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Juice
Any canned fruit, vegetable, meat, pasta
Boxed or canned ready to eat meals
Baking mixes such as pancake, biscuit, etc.
Dry pasta
Food can be dropped off at the store located at 1125 Alvarado Road on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am - 4 pm. It can also be dropped off at the King's Inn (formerly Sidney Motor Lodge) Office located at 2031 Illinois Street at any time.
The mobile food pantry is a pantry and kitchen built into a trailer giving Table of Grace the opportunity to take resources to other communities, directly serving people in need instead of relying on people to come to Table of Grace.
The project is funded by Sandhills Publishing.
