Lady Coyotes Move To 4-0

Potter-Dix's Lady Coyote Volleyball team is having a hot start to their season, defeating Minatare twice and rival Leyton to open with a 3-and-0 record. On Friday they hosted the Crawford Lady Rams, looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, the Lady Coyotes started strong, and took down the Lady Rams 25-to-12 in the first set. They continued their strong play in the second set, keeping the Crawford girls off-balance and out of system through much of the set. Potter-Dix took the second set 25-to-15, and looked to wrap up the sweep with a third set victory. But the Lady Rams fired back and played a good third set, hanging with the Lady Coyotes then opening a lead en route to a 25-to-21 third set victory, only the Lady Coyotes' second dropped set of the season. Potter-Dix turned the momentum around in the fourth set, opening a lead then putting away the Lady Rams 25-to-10 for the 3-to-1 match victory.

Potter-Dix tries to keep their unbeaten streak alive when they host the 0-and-3 Kimball Lady Longhorns on Thursday.
