'COMET' Training Nov. 1 at Sidney Regional Medical Center

COMET, Changing our Mental and Emotional Trajectory, is a behavioral health intervention developed specifically for farming and rural communities.

The program is a gentle introduction to supporting friends and neighbors in a vulnerable space to help them shift their mental health trajectory back to a place of wellness and away from the path of a mental health crisis. This program was developed by the High Plains Research Network Community Advisory Council.

COMET Training is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., November 1, at the Sidney Regional Medical Center Conference Rooms.

Anyone can be trained in COMET to help their communities and this training is free. Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited so please RSVP to reserve your seat.

For reservations or questions, please email Kristen Rose at [email protected].
