Raider Cross Country Finishes Season At State

Sidney's Red Raider Cross Country teams had another successful year under Head Coach Donna Wiedeburg, and the girls' team was able to earn 12th place in Class C and the boys' team earned 14th place in Class C in Kearney on Friday.

Sidney's outstanding junior runner Talissa Tanquary medaled with a fourth place finish at 20:10.1 to lead the Red Raiders. Senior Rheo Dykstra had a 50th place finish at 22:47.6 followed by sophomore Ileana Neufeld-Ponce in 81st place at 23:53.3, junior Avery Lawson in 91st place at 24:34.3 and junior Jenju Peters in 108th place at 28:23.5.
