Peetz's Bulldog Boys Basketball team opened their season with a loss at the annual Carlisle Classic Tournament to eventual winner Caliche, 58-to-42. The Bulldogs were unable to come back from a big Buffalo early lead. Trailing 21-to-6 after the first period and then 39-to-14 at the halftime break, Peetz rallied in the second half, outscoring the Buffaloes 28-to-19, but it was not enough to overcome the early deficit and Peetz came up short.

Caliche senior Tanner Gerk and junior Orran Adolf each had big games for the Buffaloes, scoring 26 and 12 points respectively. The Peetz team will trave...
