At the December 12 meeting of the Cheyenne County School District 1, Board of Education, Jay and Sheri Ehler announced their resignations from the Sidney Public School system.

Sidney Public Schools Superintendent Jay Ehler informed the Board that his last day will be June 30, 2023. His wife, Sheri Ehler, also announced her resignation as Staff Development Director.
