CCCC Starts the New Year Transformation Challenge

If you are like most people, you've been hibernating all winter and just the thought of losing weight and getting back into a workout routine can feel incredibly daunting. While there's no way around it-when you're not in the habit of working out, you lose progress-don't be deterred from sweating it out. Challenges can be a good thing!

The Cheyenne County Community Center is offering the 2023 Transformation Challenge to everyone in the community. For the first time, non-members will be given a full membership for the entire duration of the challenge so that they will have the same advantage as regular Center members. The Challenge runs from January 3 to March 21.

All participants will enjoy full benefits of the center including all instructor led classes, basketball and racquetball courts, complete gymnasium upstairs with a running/walking track, and the spin room which features the Peleton™ app.

A full list of prizes will be made available on January 3rd. So far, this year's prizes will include: $50/25 certificates good towards purchases at Frost Giant, a free consultation/personal trainer session from Apex Performance, and 30-day unlimited access to on-line workouts from Apex Performance. Participants also receive a weekly motivational email that will included tips and a healthy meal recipe designed by Liz Borgman.

For more information or to sign up, go to the Front Desk at the Community Center or call 308-254-7000 any time during regular business hours before January 3rd.
