Sidney Hosts Holiday Classic

Sidney senior Micah Schneider and the Red Raiders look to capture another Sidney Holiday Classic crown.
Sidney's Red Raider Basketball teams will host the Sidney Holiday Classic tournament starting on Thursday, with some of the area's best teams competing at the year-ending annual event.

Sidney senior Rheagan Stanley and the Lady Raiders look to remain undefeated and win the Sidney Holiday Classic.
The action starts Thursday afternoon, with the Chase County Lady Longhorns matching up against the Gordon-Rushville Lady Mustangs at 1:30 p.m., followed by the boys' teams from Chase County and Gordon-Rushville matching up.
At 4:30, the Lady Raiders face the Mitchell Lady Tigers, followed by the Sidney boys matching up against the Mitchell boys at 6 p.m.
On Friday, the losers of Thursday's girls' games battle it out for third place at 11 a.m., followed the by the losers of Thursday's boys' games at 12:30 p.m. The winners of Thursday's games face off for the championship games, with the girls' contest at 2 p.m. and the boys' game at 3:30 p.m.
