Potter-Dix's Lady Coyote Girls Basketball team had a tough battle in the first round of the MAC Tournament last Monday, falling by six points to Garden County 33-to-27. The game started close as the teams both played tough defense while the Lady Coyotes were able to hit a few shots and take a lead at 11-to-8 in the first period. Potter-Dix struggled on offense in the second period, and the Garden County girls opened a 17-to-13 lead at the halftime intermission.
The second half had Garden County playing tough defense and pulling away in the third period, while the Lady Coyotes tried to rall...
