Storm Drops Three More

Creek Valley's Storm Boys Basketball team dropped three more games over the week, and have just two more games left in the regular season.

On Thursday, the Storm traveled to Minatare for a winnable game against the Indians, but they were unable to sustain any offensive rhythm or momentum, and fell by a final score of 54-to-4. Minatare's victory was just their second win of the year.

The Storm tried to regroup against Leyton on Friday, but the powerhouse Warrior team was too much for Creek Valley in all facets, and they quickly took control and broke out to an easy 90-to-28 win against Creek Valley.

The Storm then hosted the Bulldog team out of Peetz on Saturday, and a close first quarter turned to a second quarter domination by Peetz to give the visitors a big lead at the half. Creek Valley fought back in the third period, but Peetz then shut down the Creek Valley offense in the fourth, preventing any rally for the Storm. The Bulldogs took the victory by a final score of 60-to-43.

Next up, the Storm travels to Big Springs to take on the South Platte Blue Knights on Friday.
