Men's Wild Game Feed Returns to Sidney Saturday, March 4th.

On Saturday March 4th, the Sidney Evangelical Free (E-Free) Church will be having a men's Wild Game Feed starting at 6:30pm in the Family Center gymnasium, 2763 11th Avenue in Sidney. Doors open at 6 o'clock. All men are invited. Please bring a main dish, a side dish, or a dessert to share. The preferred dish is something you love to make from an animal you've harvested but not everyone is a hunter so bring anything you'd like, even if it's just your appetite. There will be plenty of food for everyone and all men and boys are welcome.

Along with great food to share, there will be prizes donated by local businesses.

As part of the outreach to men of the community, the Wild Game Feed always includes a special speaker that will give the message of living an outdoor lifestyle while being a man for Christ. This year's speaker will be Greg Sanders, owner of Jack's Heating, Cooling, Fireplaces and Stoves in Alliance. He is a powerful Christian with an incredible love for the outdoors. He is an avid fisherman and hunter and is particularly fond of hunting elk. His passion for the outdoors is exceeded only by his love for Christ and reaching others in His name.

Wild Game Feeds have been a local tradition at the E-Free church since its beginning in 2006, although it has been on hiatus for the past few years. It was a highly anticipated men's group event and the church is excited to be bringing the tradition to life once again. Event coordinator and pastor of the E-Church, Kyle Larson says, "I'm super excited that we are doing this feast again, it is always something special when men can gather together. We are praying that if this outreach can reach even just one man for Christ, that would be amazing! This is a town full of hunters and fishermen who love what they do and really love to share in their harvest. A game feed is just one way that can bring men together, have great fellowship and show them the love of Christ."
