After a surprising run in the CHSAA Tournament, the Peetz Bulldogs were represented by freshman Rhyder Bayne and junior Noah Naegele in the District 4 All-Team selections.

Bayne was named to the District 4 First Team for the 2022-23 season. He led the Bulldogs with 16.6 points per game and was the catalyst for their offense. Bayne's emergence and the solid play of the Bulldogs in the latter part of the season led Peetz to a 1A District 4 Championship by beating Longmont Christian, Briggsdale and Fleming to secure their spot in the State Tournament and get a Regional match-up with Sierra Grande.

Junior Noah Naegele was named to the District 4 second team on the strength of his 10.7 points per game and 9 rebound per game average. He had a double-double in the first round of the District Tournament against Longmont Christian and was a key player and defender throughout the season. Junior Chance Segelke was also named to the District 4 second team with 9.6 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and team-leading 42% field goal percentage.

Head Coach Dave Weber was able to keep his team together after a rough start to the season and earn "Surprise Team of the League" honors. The Bulldogs were able to improve as the year progressed, and peaked at the right time in the District 4 tournament. After beating Longmont Christian, the Bulldogs shocked number 1 seed Briggsdale and number 2 seed Fleming to win the 1A District 4 crown and punch their ticket to the Regionals. The young and talented Bulldogs are well-positioned to be a force in 1A District 4 basketball for the next few years.
