Linda Kay Wooldridge

Linda Kay Wooldridge, 71, a longtime Morgan County resident died of natural causes in her home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Linda was born in Sidney, Nebraska on January 16, 1952, to Jim Farley Lindsey and Helen Mae (Frerichs) Lindsey.  She graduated from Sidney High School in 1970.

On July 20, 1986, she was united in marriage with Robert L. Wooldridge at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Chapel and went on to share 36 years together living in Brush, Colorado.

Linda enjoyed being an artist, gardening, fishing, listening to others, and was also a lover of all animals. Linda lovingly saved everything that her children and grandchildren brought home including lots of baby birds, squirrels, kittens, tadpoles, and even roly-polies.

Linda worked as a licensed Health Unit Coordinator (Ward Clerk) at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, Colorado.  She later went on to take care of a multitude of children throughout her years of providing daycare.

Survivors include her husband, Robert (Bob) Wooldridge.  In-laws, Linda Lindsey of Norman, OK; Debbie and Terry Dowis of Sterling, CO; Jack and Shirley Wooldridge of Fort Morgan, CO; Fred and Penny Wooldridge of Naples, FL; and Bill and Jerry Woodridge of Olive Branch, MS.

Children: LaNette Redden and Cory Behling, of Brush, CO; Rob and Dawn Wooldridge of Snyder, CO; Michelle Wooldridge and Greg Enfante of Fort Morgan, CO; Matthew Wooldridge of Brush, CO.

Grandchildren:  Cyra and Katie Wooldridge-Sams of San Diego, CA; Austin and Skylee Wooldridge of Alliance, NE and their child, Caesar Johnson, of Brush, CO; Bryson Wooldridge of Brush, CO; Jazmine and Tyler DeHerrera and their children, Raven Morrison, Tayson, T.J., and Zayla May DeHerrera of Sterling, CO;  Chandise and Austin Gordon and their children Annalise and Remington Gordon of Leola, SD;  Alyssa Nestor and Tyler Geller and their child, Raelynn Geller of Eureka, SD; Trevor Schrum and his children Leo and Oscar Schrum of Fort Morgan, CO; Jordyn and Jacob Frencl and their children, Joseph, Nevaeh and Isaac Frencl of Mountain Home, AK; Noah Wooldridge of Brush, CO, Faith Camacho and Maddison Torres of Fort Morgan, CO, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Helen Lindsey; in-laws, Wayne and Juanita Wooldridge, sister, Janet (Lindsey) and husband Dick Jones; brother, John Lindsey; brother, Robert and wife Charlotte Louise Marie Lindsey, and daughter-in-law, Kari Kissler-Wooldridge.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, March 21st at 10:30 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 222 Cameron Street in Brush. Services will conclude at the chapel.
