Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
Sidney Middle School was the site on Sunday for an afternoon of dancing from girls ranging from preschool age up to high school. The Just for Kix teams held a program that lasted all afternoon, with all of their age groups participating.
Now in their 19th year, Just for Kix founder Donna Brown-Fort has developed programs for all ages and interests, from the "Tiny Kix" Pre-K class to the Senior Jazz team. Brown-Fort has 17 years of High School Dance & Cheer Head Coaching experience, has earned five State Champion Titles as a High School Coach and dancer and was the captain and choreographer for the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders.
A big crowd came out Sunday to watch their girls perform their routines, and the age groups completed their work with a Daddy/Daughter Dance with all of the proud fathers getting out on the floor and dancing with their daughters.
