CHEYENNE COUNTY – Cheyenne County Sheriff Office (CCSO) Sheriff Adam Frerichs announced the department made two arrests last week.

According to Sheriff Frerichs, CCSO arrested 26-year-old Jonathan Downer for criminal trespassing. However, as CCSO was processing Downer they discovered he also had an arrest warrant out of Cheyenne County and booked him on those charges as well on June 3.

Additionally, on June 6, CCSO arrested Ginelle Slaughter, 60, on a bench warrant.

The Sun-Telegraph expects to have more arrests notifications from both CCSO and Sidney Police Department (SPD) later in the week.
