LODGEPOLE – The Village of Lodgepole held its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on June 6, at which time, two of the three council members who previously submitted resignations, rescinded their resignations.
Of the three council members who sub-mitted their resignations: Gwen Devie and Brenda Parsons rescinded their resignations at the meeting. However, the newest member to the Village Board of Trustees, Abbie Brott, completed her resignation, of which the board approved.
The board posted in various local places in Lodgepole it is now seeking letters of recommendation and applications for someone to fill the now vacant position. At a later time the board chairman, RJ Savely, will make a recommendation to the rest of the board. The board will then vote on who to fill the vacancy.
Savely's term ends in 2024, as does both Devie and Ron Shellhorns' terms and Parsons’ term ends in 2026.
