PEETZ, CO.-- The Peetz Bulldogs had a real battle on their hands Friday night as they hosted the Cheyenne Wells Tigers in 6-Man Football action. The Bulldogs improved their record to 3-and-0 as they outlasted a winless Tigers team that fought hard and made the game a full four-quarter contest. Peetz was able to pull out the win in the end, 40-to-38, to remain undefeated. They next match up against winless North Park in Walden on September 23.
The Creek Valley Storm, conversely, simply can't find a way to win so far in this 2023 season. The Storm traveled to Crawford on Friday and got routed by the Rams, 95-to-0. This is the third lopsided loss by the Storm this season. The Storm will try to get on the winning side of the ledger on Thursday when they host the Southwest Roughriders in Chappell. Game time is 7 p.m.
