Jethro Lee Eugene Harris

Jethro Harris, age 51, of Sidney, NE, entered into his eternal home on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Denver, CO.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at The Well Church in Sidney with Pastor Justin Brown officiating. Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery following the service. Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Jethro's care and funeral arrangements.

Jethro Lee Eugene Harris age 51 was born in Cheyenne, WY on September 15, 1972 to Jerry and Kay Harris (Hutchinson).

Jethro and his mother relocated to Kimball where he attended school for many years. He was active in the wrestling and boxing clubs. He was golden glove champion one year and had a love for the sport.

In 1985 Jethro moved to Sidney with his family where he continued and completed his education. 

Jethro was a very gifted artist and truly enjoyed his ability. He taught himself to play the guitar and could play about any song after listening to it. He went on to teach others how to

do the same thing.

Jethro is survived by his daughter Alisha Wells of Sidney, mother Kay Hajek (Hutchinson), sister Jessica Sick (Hutchinson) and husband Shane, Dustin Smith of Sidney, Johnny Hajek and wife Jordan of Sidney, adopted brothers Bryant Runge of Colorado and Patrick Smith of West Virginia, Cindy, Dave and son Tyler Aguiniga of Kimball and many extended family.

Jethro was preceded in death by his father Jerry Harris numerous aunts and uncles, grandparents Ester and Shirley Harris, Ervin Hutchinson and Marilyn Marshall.

Jethro...we will always carry you in our memories and in our hearts. Forever loved.
