Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week 51

It was just at midnight when the Love of God came as an ordinary baby, placed in a manger filled with hay, in a cave, in the little town of Bethlehem, Judea.

Mary and Joseph may not have heard the Heavenly Host of stars and angels announce Love's arrival to the shepherds who, then, went looking for the Sign, (Signature of God) but these new parents knew His Name. "Immanuel. God with us."

Isaiah 9 proclaims: "Unto us a Child is born; a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulders. His Name will be called 'Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace'. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end upon the throne of David and His Kingdom, to order and establish it with judgement and justice, from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts (stars and angels) will perform this."

These words were written on an insane asylum wall by an anonymous someone who also knew: "The Love of God is greater far than any tongue or pen can tell. It reaches to the highest star and into the lowest hell. O, Love of God, how rich and pure, how measureless and strong!" Jesus, the Mighty One of Israel!

His Name is 'Jesus' in Greek, 'Yeshua' in Hebrew and understood as salvation, deliverance, healing, prosperity, wholeness (shalom, peace) and everlasting life. He is present in every book of the Bible. Genesis 1:2, Holy Spirit is seen, hovering over the darkness of earth, when God says, "Let there be Light!" Yeshua HaMashiek (Jesus the Messiah) is presented to the Universe by HaShem (the Father) through Ruach HaKodesh (breath of the Holy Spirit). The Anointed One!

Colossians 1:15,16: "He (Jesus, the Christ, Messiah, HaMashiek) is the image of the invisible God, firstborn over all creation, for by Him all things were created in Heaven and earth that are visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and by Him."

Proverbs 9:30-31 reveals "I, [Jesus, anointed as wisdom] was beside Him [HaShem] as a master craftsman, and I was, daily, His delight, rejoicing before Him; rejoicing in His inhabited world. And My delight was with the sons of men."

'Jesus' is known the entire world over as 'the Light of the world', yet millions do not recognize He is Jewish, raised in the Judean hills where King David and his mighty men kept flocks of sheep and fought battles to receive a King of kings, a Lord of lords as an inheritance. Both Mary and Joseph were direct descendants of this valiant warrior King whom Father God, Himself, anointed and appointed.

Beloved, who do you say this Child is?

God forgave the world, then He gave. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved." John 3:16-18
