    On Sunday night a Sidney family’s evening was interrupted by an apparent drive-by shooting. Investigators are looking into the incident and tracking down leads, Sidney police chief B.J. Wilkinson said. The alleged shooting occurred on Sunday evening around 8 p.m. Amy Bell was at home with her children when they apparently heard a shot and called police.   • Greenwood Rd. culvert project revised

    The city council this week approved changes to drainage plans for the Greenwood Rd. box culvert. Don Dye of M.C. Shaff explained to the council that his company had planned to outlet the storm sewer into Lodgepole Creek just to the east of the box culvert. After further consideration, the company decided to tie the pipe into the box culvert instead.
