    For the first time in at least two decades, Cheyenne County will have a public defender after county commissioners unanimously approved awarding Sidney attorney Donald Miller a contract for the position during Monday's regular meeting. Once contracted, Miller will serve as an independent contractor for a two-year term at a cost of $249,600.     Wanda (Geri) Satchell, 85 of rural Bridgeport, went to be with her heavenly father March 19, 2016 as a result of a massive stroke. Wanda was born Feb. 26, 1931 in Maywood to Ora and Zona Mullen. She married Ray Satchell on Sept. 10, 1948. Her life was filled with family, friends, quilting, gardening and canning.     Greg McDaniel and Mitch Brown made it look easy in the first weekend of the Kimball Hospital Foundation 9-pin no-tap bowling tournament. The two Kimball men each scored multiple 300 games Friday and Saturday and will have a share of $1,000 in prize money from the first weekend of the tournament.
