    Sarah-Kate Splichal has been in Girl Scouts for 11 years now and is currently focusing on her Gold Award, which is the highest possible award for Girl Scouts and is equivalent to the Boy Scouts Eagle award.     Sidney's radio station, KSID, began a project to show community support to local law enforcement. KSID General Manager and Program Director Suzy Ernest said the idea for the project was born from a sticker KSID Graphic Designer Keifer Mitchel made for his vehicle, after the Dallas police shootings.     Cheyenne County of Chamber will hold two meetings in October to go over budget items to finalize its 2017 budget. Members were encouraged to get their budget items into the finance committee as soon as possible. A new objective was brought to the table to try to get younger individuals more active in the community, similar to the previous group Young Professionals.   • Fog seal applications affect access around courthouse

    Fog sealing Jackson Street from 5th to 19th Ave., begins on Monday, Aug. 29. Parking will be very limited around the Cheyenne Courthouse due to the procedure. All doors of the courthouse will be open during the time that Jackson Street is barricaded for street work. The city began cleaning the streets on Thursday and will continue today and Monday. Residents are asked to remove vehicles along the route. The city also asks that no water be allowed to run in the gutter on Monday, Aug. 29.
