    Cheyenne County Commissioners held further discussions about the vacant Assessor position in Monday’s regular meeting. In a previous meeting, Commissioners extended the deadline to accept applications for the recently vacated Cheyenne County Assessor position.     Local youth got a chance to spend some time with Sidney law enforcement officers Saturday, shopping and getting to know the men and women in blue in a different capacity.     Christmas cheer is being delivered to area residents in many forms via the local King's Daughter's organization. Earlier this month, treat bags and cookie trays were delivered to shut ins, elderly individuals, and those in the community who could use a little cheer. Poinsettias were delivered to individuals that have lost loved ones during the year.     Sidney's Derek Robb reached a big milestone Saturday at the Sidney/Bridgeport Invite, notching his 100 th career win with a quarterfinal win over Daniel Grube of Cheyenne (Wyo.) East.
