Donald Lee “Donny” Vizina, the son of Brian Lee and Debra Ann (O’Dell) Vizina, was born on June 18, 1984, in Sidney. He attended schools in Nebraska and Colorado before moving to Hermiston, Ore., where he graduated in 2004. Donny returned to Sidney following graduation and worked at Krone and later as a maintenance assistant for his uncle.

Donny has a passion for wildlife, the outdoors and was an experienced and avid firearms supporter. He loved to fish, hunt, camp and just hang out in the backyard for a barbecue. He adored his family and always had time for an X-box game with his little brother or a tea party with his niece and he would never turn down a game of Texas hold Em’ with the “big kids.” If Donny was your friend, then he was a friend for life. He never judged people and treated everyone with respect and kindness. He would give his last dollar and the shirt off of his back if he thought it would make their day a little easier. Donny loved to make people happy, always had a smile on his face and was never shy about giving hugs. “I love you,” followed every conversation with family.

Survivors include his mother, Deb Wieser and husband Randy of Sidney; his father, Brian Vizina of Sidney; three sisters, Natasha Vizina of Sidney, Randa Doty and husband Jeff of Wichita, Kan., and Ashlee Wieser and fiancé Garrett Melton of Sidney; two brothers, Cody Aure and “dad,” Todd Aure of Potter and Ryan Wieser of Sidney; two nieces, Kaydence Nicole and Bentli Ann of Sidney; his grandparents, LaVonne O’Dell of Alliance and Charlotte Lavalleur of Sidney and Robert and Shirley Aure of Iowa; uncles, Dan O’Dell and Brad Vizina and wife Jackey all of Sidney and Brett Vizina of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Dana Aure of Omaha; aunts, Nan Nielsen and husband Leo of Sidney and Lynnette Helms of Pine Bluffs, Wyo .; special friend, Linda Dickey; and numerous extended family members and friends.
