Seniors proud of "special team" and 22-11 season
Facing all the challenges of a state-playoff match, the Red Raiders season came to an end at Beatrice on Saturday with a 3-0 loss to the Orange in a sub state pairing.

Instead, a system was put in place whereby the top 16 teams - based on season-long power points - would be seeded for preliminary matches. The higher seeds were given home-court advantage. As the ninth seed, Sidney was required to make the long trip to face No. 8 Beatrice on the Orange's home floor.
