The Potter-Dix Coytes boys’ basketball team advanced to the semifinal round of the MAC Tournament with a 53-39 win over the Garden County Eagles on Tuesday night in Oshkosh.
The No. 5 Coyotes fought their way to a narrow 15-12 lead after the first quarter before asserting control over the second eight minutes. Potter-Dix upped its halftime lead to 14 points at 32-18. The Coyotes never trailed the No. 5 Eagles in the second half.
Potter-Dix will take on top seeded Minatare at Sidney Middle School on Thursday at 4:45 p.m.
