Baby girl born during roadside delivery

A pregnant Sidney woman driving with her husband to Scottsbluff gave birth to a healthy 7-pound baby girl on the side of the highway outside of Sidney this week.

Kendra Stone's labor began Wednesday morning when she noticed a labor pain and called her husband to leave work. Once they made it as far as Gurley – about 15 miles outside Sidney – Stone said she knew they weren't going to make in time.
