Mary Ann Raddatz - Obituary

Mary Ann Raddatz, 94, of Iowa City, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Burial will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.

Mary Ann was born on November 21, 1922 in Sidney, NE the daughter of Fred and Crystal (Allen) Stephens. She was united in marriage to Virgil Raddatz on March 28, 1942 in Coronado, CA. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1995. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening, reading, and sewing. She was a member of DAR, Fort Sidney Chapter and Christ Episcopal Church in Sidney, NE.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Anne (Neil) Kumor of North Liberty; grandson, Alexander Kumor of Iowa City; and many extended family.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Virgil; parents and three siblings, Jack Stephens, Allen Stephens, and Joy Ankeny.
