County Clerk Confirms Primary Election Results

Cheyenne County Clerk Beth Fiegenschuh confirmed the results of the Primary Election with Melody Keller winning the County Assessor seat with 867 votes to incumbent Sybil Prosser’s 486.

The top votes in the Leyton School Board went to Cary L. Linton (170), Anne Rexroth (152), Galen Bartling (148), Ryan H. Borges (118) and Samuel S. Schumacher (102).

Linda S. Shoemaker gathered the most votes from Potter-Dix voters with 158, followed by Keri Rasmussen Mendoza (140), Joseph Nicklas (130), Mike Rotert (103) and Betsy Galloway-Carew (79).

Creek Valley voters chose Doug Mashek (95) as the lead candidate, followed by Roger Hodges (66), Vickie Brown (51), Troy Isenbart and Julie Koenen. Koenen informed the Sun-Telegraph May 7 that she could not accept the school board seat.
