Creek Valley junior Oakley Hodges makes a difficult catch and turns up the field for a big gain in the first quarter of the Storm's 62-26 victory over Minatare Friday night.

As the sun set and the warm day turned chilly, the Creek Valley Storm Football team first honored their families on Parent's night, then took care of business to end their regular season with an 8-and-0 record, a first for the Storm football program.

The Minatare Indians struck first led by junior quarterback Dario Rodriguez, driving down the field mixing runs, passes, and a few big plays capped with a 20 yard touchdown pass to junior Carlos Martinez to take an early 6-to-0 lead. Minatare next used an onside kick to get the ball back, but the Storm defense held and took over on downs.
