Philip D. Beckman, age 78, of Julesburg, CO, passed away in Sidney, NE on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sidney, NE with Father C.P. Varghese officiating. Military Graveside Honors and burial will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 2:00 P.M. Central Time. Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website. Memorials may be made in care of the family for later designation.

Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Monday from 9-12:00 noon to leave condolences for the family.

Philip was born on May 22, 1945 in Scottsbluff, NE. He married Beatrice Lydia Rocha on September 1, 1990 in Sidney, NE.

Philip's farm was located at Julesburg, CO to which he was a very devoted farmer. He also worked at Prestolite Wire in Sidney for 19 years.

Philip is survived by his wife, Beatrice, two sisters and their families.
