Cheyenne County Fairboard Nails it with Entertainment Line-up for 2024 Fair

David Nail and Chayce Beckham secured as musical entertaiment

SIDNEY--On Tuesday, April 2, the Cheyenne County Fair Board held a Reveal Party at the Elks Club in Sidney, where they announced the order of events at this year's Fair and the concert lineup for Thursday and Friday.

It was made public that country star Chayce Beckham will be performing on Thursday night, July 25, supported by opening act Thomas Mac. Beckham has been described as "One of the most buzzed about newcomers in Country music today". On May 23, 2021, he was crowned the winner of the nineteenth season of American Idol, beating runner-up Willie Spence. While on American Idol, he performed the song "23", which he wrote a year prior, and the song reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart after he performed the song. "23", was released as his single, and it made him the first Idol winner to do so with an original song.

On Friday, David Nail is the headliner, supported by opening at Dennis Wheeler. The front man of "David Nail & the Well Ravens", Nail has been performing around the country since the early 2000's. Gates open at 6 p.m., for both shows.

The official lineup for the Fair is as follows:

• Tuesday, July 23 the PRCA Rodeo and WPRA Barrel Race start at 6 p.m, with slack following after the Rodeo.

• Wednesday July 24, the "Rubber Check Race" will be held at the main arena, starting at 6 p.m.

• Thursday July 25, Chayce Beckham and special guest Thomas Mac will perform starting at 6 p.m.

• Friday July 26, David Nail and special guest Dylan Wheeler will perform starting at 6 p.m.

• Saturday July 27, it's the Demolition Derby, with lawnmower races and a combine derby also starting at 6 p.m.

After the Fair Board members announced the event line up free tickets were given out to some lucky winners who were in attendance. Online ticket sales are now open, and tickets can be purchased at http://www.cheyennecountyfair.com.

Tickets range from $10 to $25 per event, and children under 5 years old are free. Special deals are available for pre-sales, so make sure you take advantage of the savings by getting your tickets early. This year, an "All-Access Pass" is available, and it is a $100 value that you can buy for $85 if you purchase the ticket online.
