Sidney's freshmen boys open season with two wins

The Sidney High School freshmen basketball team opened its 2014-'15 season with a pair of road wins on Saturday at a tournament at Mitchell Secondary School. The Red Raiders defeated Gering, 45-34, in their opener in the morning, and then followed that with a 51-23 victory over Alliance in the afternoon.
