Potter-Dix junior Makayla Williamson scored 12 points in the Lady Coyote's victory over Peetz on Tuesday. It was the first victory of the season for the Lady Warriors.
It's been a long struggle to finally get their first win, but the Potter-Dix Lady Coyotes were able to secure their first victory Tuesday night against the visiting Peetz Lady Bulldogs in Potter, 30-to-27.
After a slow start by the Lady Coyotes that had them trailing 12-to-5 after the first quarter, sophomore Mary Kasten buried two three-point shots to narrow the Peetz lead while the Lady Coyotes defense stepped up the pressure against the Lady Bulldogs.
