    Levi Hallett, 27, formerly of Sidney, was sentenced last week in the U.S. District Court-District of Nebraska. He was sentenced to the Bureau of Prisons for a term of 27 years of imprisonment, followed by 15 years of supervised release with special conditions.     A man who shot and killed a Sidney woman three years ago was sentenced to life imprisonment on Wednesday afternoon. Larry Martinez shot and killed Kershman at a residence on the north side of Sidney on July 18, 2012. He was reportedly angered by a text that Kershman sent to him shortly before the shooting.     A Sidney Public School bus experienced an electrical issue that resulted in smoke and a small fire on Thursday afternoon.
